BackgroundMountain picture

Charley, Herbie, Joe and John is a play about five men who share a love of walking together, where they can escape for a while from the demands and commitments of their individual day to day. When an event which occurs on a trip together which changes the life of one of them, all their lives are altered. Their walking together is stopped. In the conflicts that follow they find things out that they never knew.

This is an ensemble play with pathos, comedy, conflict, and strong individual parts. The play has an all male cast. It requires a commitment to working together with two parts for actors in their 40s, one in his 50s, two in their later thirties to early forties.

The play is booked for Chapter Main Theatre for December 14th, 15th, 16th. The venue for the 12th and 13th is still being decided.
