Everyman Summer Festival 2006
Welcome

Everyman Theatre Company returns to the Museum of Welsh Life, St Fagan's, this July with its popular Open Air Theatre Festival. This year's Festival offers two classic plays that are perfectly suited to be enjoyed outdoors in what promises to be balmy summer weather.
A two-week double bill kicks offs on 19th July with As You Like It, in the evenings and from 22rd July is combined with children's favourite Alice in Wonderland during the day. Both plays are tailor made for the natural outdoor stage the museum in St Fagan's provides, which is surrounded by massive trees, flowering shrubs and grass. It's the perfect setting to see Alice meet the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter, as well as providing a ready-made Forrest of Arden for Rosalind and Orlando to meet and fall in love in Shakespeare's As You Like It.
Festival Organiser Derek Bateman says “this year's programme really does offer the perfect out door theatre experience. We always recommend that people make a picnic and come early to enjoy the wonderful Museum of Welsh Life before the play. It's a great summer tradition for many families who come back year after year”.

Help needed

The festival always generates lots of work and opportunities for volunteers! Everything from set
building to front-of-house support has to happen to make the festival the success we are all used to
and expect.
As always a team of Front of House staff is needed for the summer festival. For newcomers or those who have never enjoyed the experience, please contact me to volunteer! To the faithful many who do their turn, thank you very much, please ring as usual to offer your services.
Dress code is smart black and/or white. Jacket for if it turns chilly.
Duties: meet and greet, sell programmes, seat the audience, tidy up afterwards.
Seats permitting, the FoH team can see the performances from inside the stand.
Also required: an auditorium manager for both productions- usually two people. Based inside the auditorium to oversee the seating of the audience, with help from other FoH staff. Perks of the job: big badge and Box Office listing!!!
To offer your services/more details, please contact Jackie Hurley on 029 2070 4468 (you can leave message and phone no.) Mob. 077 7960 3836 (send a text) or

Thank you all in anticipation of your help and support. See you in St Fagans.
